Bark and Bathe

Bark and Bathe is a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming business at 5739 S. Campbell Ave., Suite D, in Springfield, Missouri. Owners looking for dog boarding in Springfield will find overnight stays in private rooms and off-leash group play during the day. The kennel's own website talks a lot about pampering dogs, and having grooming in the same building fits that.

What does a boarding stay look like?

Boarding dogs sleep in private rooms, not a shared open space. Each day follows a set routine of meals, playtime, and quiet-time breaks, so dogs get rest between play sessions. Boarders also get an afternoon treat and a potty break before bed.

Group play is off leash, both indoors and outside. Having both helps on rainy or very hot days, when dogs with only an outdoor yard would have nowhere to play.

Services and amenities

What should owners know before booking?

Bookings are made by phone at (417) 755-7146. Every dog must have its vaccinations, so owners should have records ready before they call. If a dog takes medication, staff can give it during the stay.

The kennel's website lists boarding at $35 to $45 per night. Owners can ask on the phone which rate applies to their dog.

When is Bark and Bathe open?

The business is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. On Saturday and Sunday it's open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Owners should confirm drop-off and pick-up times when they book, especially for weekend arrivals.
