Animal Hospital of the Rockies

Animal Hospital of the Rockies is a veterinary clinic at 453 Pine River Lane in Estes Park, Colorado, that also offers overnight boarding and daycare for dogs and cats. For owners looking for dog boarding in Estes Park, the main draw is simple: boarded pets stay at a working animal hospital.

What services does it offer?

The practice combines medical care with everyday pet services. Its offerings include:

• Overnight boarding for dogs and cats
• Doggy daycare
• Grooming
• On-site veterinary care, including emergency care
• Cat condos, available as a half or full unit

What makes boarding here different?

Because there is a vet on site, a boarded dog is never far from medical help. The hospital's veterinarian is USDA-accredited. That can matter a lot for older dogs, dogs on medication, or owners who simply worry less when a clinic is down the hall.

The hospital's website describes its staff as friendly and compassionate, and the overall tone is warm rather than corporate. Dogs can get playtime, treats, and peanut butter Kongs on request. These small extras help a strange place feel a little more like home.

Owners are welcome to tour the facility before booking. A quick visit is a good way to see where their dog will stay and to ask questions in person.

Practical details

Boarding rates run from $30 to $40 per night, according to the hospital's website. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Since the office is closed on weekends, owners should ask about drop-off and pickup times when they book.
