All Bright Canines

All Bright Canines is a dog daycare at 1567 Route 85 in Oakdale, CT, offering weekday daycare along with training, grooming and canine wellness services. For owners comparing dog daycare in Oakdale and the surrounding southeastern Connecticut area, its main draw is a program built around daily enrichment and wellness rather than simple supervised play.

What does a day at All Bright Canines look like?

The facility describes its approach as treating daycare more like a school for dogs. Dogs spend the day playing and socializing, with basic commands worked in along the way. The idea is that owners pick up a relaxed dog that's a little better trained than it was that morning. Indoor play space is part of the setup, so the day keeps going when the weather turns.

What services are offered?

• Dog daycare with daily enrichment and wellness programs
• Dog training, including a play-and-train option that pairs daycare with training time
• Grooming
• Canine bodywork by a Certified Canine Bodyworker (CCBW)
• Puppy packages for dogs 6 months and under

What sets it apart?

The wellness side is the standout. Canine bodywork is offered by a Certified Canine Bodyworker, which gives owners a hands-on wellness option alongside regular daycare. Combined with daily enrichment, the program has more of a whole-dog focus than a basic play group.

Puppy owners get their own option too. Packages are available for dogs 6 months and under, which can be a good fit for young dogs who are still learning the basics.
