Put your badge on your site

Let pet parents know your facility is listed on Kennel Finder. The badge links to your listing page, where visitors see your hours, photos, and details in one place.

It's a plain image and link — no scripts, nothing to maintain. Haven't claimed your listing yet? Claim it free first so your page stays accurate.

How to add it, step by step

Copy the code above first (the "Copy code" button), then follow the steps for whatever your website runs on. It takes about two minutes, and you can't break anything: if it looks wrong, just delete the block you added.

WordPress›
  1. Log in to your WordPress admin (usually yoursite.com/wp-admin).
  2. Go to Appearance → Widgets (or edit the page where you want the badge).
  3. Add a block and search for "Custom HTML".
  4. Paste the code into the box and click Update / Save.
  5. Open your website in a new tab and check the badge shows and clicks through to your Kennel Finder page.
Squarespace›
  1. Edit the page (or the footer) where you want the badge.
  2. Click an insert point (the + or "Add block").
  3. Choose the "Code" block (search "code" if you don't see it).
  4. Delete the example text in the block and paste the badge code.
  5. Save. Check the badge shows and clicks through to your page.
Wix›
  1. In the Wix editor, click "Add Elements" (the + on the left).
  2. Choose Embed Code → "Embed HTML".
  3. Click "Enter Code" and paste the badge code.
  4. Drag the box where you want it (footers work well) and click Publish.
Shopify›
  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
  2. Click Customize on your current theme.
  3. Pick the footer (or any section), then Add block → "Custom Liquid" (or "Custom HTML").
  4. Paste the badge code and click Save.
GoDaddy / Weebly / other builders›
  1. Look for a block or element called "HTML", "Embed", "Embed Code", or "Custom Code" — every major builder has one.
  2. Add it where you want the badge (footers and About pages work well).
  3. Paste the badge code and save/publish.
Someone else manages my website›
  1. Use the "email this code to your web person" link above — it opens a ready-to-send email with the code and a one-line request.
  2. That's genuinely all they need. It's a standard image + link, so it works on any website ever made.
